Andrea’s role models were highly skilled and deeply faithful people who demonstrated that faith and profession achieve mutual benefit when integrated— their professional excellence was enhanced by a life surrendered to Christ and in service to others. In Psalm 90:17 God benevolently gives the “work of our hands” as a way to live purposefully (maximizing the gifts He’s given) and to worship Him (working for His glory).

Her selection into the Council of Independent Colleges' (CIC) Presidential Vocation and Institutional Mission program 2023-2024 cohort confirmed her call to serve in higher education and she invites leaders to leverage their own faith journey as they seek to serve others.
